Oliver Harvey oversees all aspects of operations and care at The Village at Waterman Lake. Oliver has played an integral role in the growth and development of The Village since its inception in 1990. He has held numerous positions within the organization, from Senior Vice President in the nineties during the company’s intense growth to Chief Operating Officer prior to the sale of nine Village communities in 2004 through to today. Oliver is now perfectly at home at the helm of our flagship community, The Village at Waterman Lake, where his compassion, tireless energy, and attention to detail set the course for The Village’s managerial team to follow.

Oliver brings a depth of experience, dedication and commitment to his work that inspire and motivate the entire Village Team, and he constantly demonstrates a concern for excellence in the service of Village residents. Having received his education in his native England, Oliver then served a tour with the British Paratroopers Regiment. He moved to the US in 1986 and entered the senior housing industry in sales and marketing for a California developer, where he advanced his skills in the field prior to joining Village Retirement Communities.

Oliver lives in Smithfield with his wife, Donna, and their two sons, Nicholas and James.
