Karlene has been a valued member of the Village team for more than a decade. The Chalet residents depend on her to find the latest and greatest trip destinations, the best entertainers, most humorous plays, most ingenious projects and, of course, the region’s best ice cream… Karlene is truly the leader of the pack and her sense of humor and robust spirit is often the source of much laughter during socials, pub parties, mystery rides, cooking programs, Arts & Crafts, Village trivia competitions, and bocce and billiard tournaments.

A licensed CDL, Karlene manages the Village’s chauffeured transportation program. Her experience and deep familiarity with her residents’ likes and dislikes enable her to plan a unique and jam-packed program that is universally well-received. Karlene is wildly popular amongst the residents and is a regular recipient of family and resident letters of praise and thanks.

A lifelong resident of Coventry, Karlene enjoys spending time with residents and hearing their life stories.  Karlene has two sons and is the wife of the late Tim Hogan. A licensed hairdresser and professional poker dealer, Karlene has spent over a decade working with seniors.
