Cindy Donahue, RN

Assistant Director of Nursing, Lodge

Cindy previously spent a decade at Fatima Hospital working on both the Medical Surgical Floor and the Oncology Unit. She went on to work at Harvard Community Health and later for Dr. DeLuca, for whom she did patient assessments, patient teaching, medication ordering and follow-up care and testing.

Cindy Donahue has been managing the Nursing Team at The Village at Waterman Lake since 1999. Currently she manages the nursing staff at The Lodge, a 140-bed building where 90% of residents receive assistance. What is so extraordinary about Cindy is that she knows each and every resident, their quirks, interests, likes, and dislikes. She advocates on their behalf with a force that her 90-pound frame does not intuitively suggest. Coordinating closely with residents and families to develop and manage their personalized care plan, Cindy works tirelessly on their behalf to ensure they are enjoying the highest quality of life and receiving the most effective type of care.

Cindy lives in Glocester with her husband of more than 30 years. They have a son, Kevin, and a daughter, Sarah.
